Welcome to Blest Design. I'm David "Blest" Blanch, a professional artist with more than 17 years of experience transforming ideas and ordinary spaces into meaningful, one-of-a-kind works of art.
For as long as I can remember, art has been more than something I do—it has been part of who I am. At 15 years old, I began signing my work "Blest." What started as an artistic name eventually became a reflection of my life, my faith, and the gratitude I carry with me every day.
More than 17 years ago, I began a journey to discover my purpose. Through that process, I realized my calling was twofold: to become the best artist and the best father I could possibly be. I never imagined that the creativity I loved as a child would one day become my livelihood and the way I support my two sons and little girl.
My journey has not always been easy. I am now approaching five years of sobriety—an accomplishment that means more to me than I can fully express. Choosing sobriety gave me the opportunity to rebuild my life, become more present for my children, and dedicate myself more completely to the gift God gave me. Every day is another chance to grow, create, and become a better man, father, and artist.
Throughout my career, I have completed well over 1,000 murals and created approximately 2,000 original pieces of artwork. My work has found homes in all 50 states. I have also had the honor of sharing my art with musicians, comedians, actors, and others whose work has brought happiness and inspiration into my own life.
I specialize in custom murals of every size, style, and subject for homes, businesses, restaurants, Airbnb properties, and commercial spaces. From realistic landscapes, portraits, tropical scenery, and pop art to bold abstracts, business branding, and completely original concepts, I work closely with every client to bring their vision to life.
I am especially proud to create murals for Airbnb properties throughout Florida, helping owners turn ordinary rooms and outdoor areas into memorable experiences that guests want to photograph, share, and remember. No project is too large or too small, and I can create artwork on virtually any surface.
In addition to murals, I create original canvas paintings, custom wood art, and decorative faux finishes—including limewash and specialty textured finishes that bring depth, character, and elegance to a space.
I have never wanted to limit myself to a single artistic style. Every project gives me an opportunity to experiment, challenge myself, and continue growing. Whether I am transforming an entire wall or creating a personal piece for someone's home, my goal is always the same: to make the world more colorful and bring joy to the people who experience my work.
I truly believe God gave me this artistic gift, and I strive to use it to bring beauty, happiness, and inspiration into the lives of others while providing for my family. Every project is approached with passion, professionalism, and a commitment to creating something you will be proud of for years to come.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me, trusted my vision, and believed in my talent throughout the years. Every mural, painting, challenge, and second chance has helped shape the person I am today.
I have the privilege of doing what I love, providing for my children, and using my God-given talent to make a positive difference. After everything this journey has taught me, I understand the meaning of my name more than ever.
